Sunday was “decorate the tree” day. We usually get our tree and decorate the weekend after Thanksgiving but we had some things that threw us back a few days. We decorated the living room on the 4th but had difficulty finding a decent Christmas tree. Our usual tree lot we bought from every year since moving to Hot Springs was just gone. We finally found one at Lowe’s.. Not the same atmosphere as going to a tree lot at night… but you do what you gotta do. Sunday was also are family dinner so my parents were there. After we ate we all went into the living room to decorate and just had a blast playing Christmas music and visiting while Lyss ran around with her holiday exuberance that only a 6 year old can have.
